Bringing Sustainable Electricity to Jomoro

In partnership with the community and the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), technicians upgrade the electrical infrastructure in Jomoro.
Access to reliable electricity remains a critical challenge across Ghana, and communities in Jomoro are no exception. Many face inconsistent power supply or lack access entirely—a barrier to safety, education, economic activity, and daily life.
Since being elected to represent the people of Jomoro, Hon. Samia Nkrumah has made resolving this issue a personal priority. She has engaged directly with key agencies, including the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), to secure tangible improvements for her constituents.
Through persistent advocacy and community-focused initiative, Hon. Nkrumah successfully secured vital infrastructure for two communities:
- A 200 KVA transformer for Tikobo No. 2, replacing an outdated unit with insufficient capacity.
- A 100 KVA transformer for Ndumsuazo, also replacing an underperforming transformer.
These upgrades mean more stable and sufficient power for households, businesses, and essential services—a fundamental step toward modernizing infrastructure and improving quality of life.
This work reflects a continued commitment to turning advocacy into action, ensuring that communities in Jomoro are not left in the dark.
